Went for my usual weekend tacos and discovered this place nearby. It's a small joint, hole in the wall and just like most hole in the walls, the place needs a face lift.
For the prices they have, the tacos aren't so bad. I got my typical bean and cheese taco, as well as Carnitas a La Mexicana, and Carne Guisada. Their Carne Guisada was quite good, plenty of flavor and well done. The bean and cheese was average, as well as the super spicy Carnitas. Their hot sauce, like mentioned by someone below, will destroy you. It's very tangy, and I felt like it wasn't a good mix with the chips.
Overall, the place is alright, I'll probably come back. -

It's not really an impressive place as far as looks go. The waitress did welcome us when we walked in, though she was distinctively colder to some than others.
Ok so I got a cheeseburger and fries. Makes sense to get that at a "Taco House" right? Weird, I guess, but most of their meals come with rice and beans and I don't like them and didn't wan't to bother with the a la carte menu.
The service, as far as the waitress waiting on our table, was good, but the place wasn't really that busy, either. The cheeseburger was good, not outstanding, but good. I did order a combo that included a soda, but I was charged for a soda anyway and the waitress insisted that I didn't order a combo. So, my meal cost $2 more than it should have. I wasn't at all pleased with that, but needed to get back to work, so I just paid it and left.
I won't say that I'll never go back, but it's doubtful it will be anytime soon. -

Had the chorizo and egg tacos. Only complaint was there was only one type of salsa for it.
